Questions

Before you book.

Short answers to what people ask most about children's rehabilitation.

Does a parent need to come to every visit?

Yes. A parent or legal guardian attends every visit and gives consent for any examination or treatment. Older children are also asked for their own agreement.

We already have a therapist. Do we need to change?

No. Rehabify can work with your child's current physiotherapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist and share a written plan with them.

What is a physiatrist's role for a child?

A physiatrist is a doctor for movement and function. The doctor looks at the whole picture, including muscle tone, joints, splints, equipment and medicines, and links the different therapies together.

Can you write a note for my child's school?

Yes. The doctor can suggest seating, rest breaks, access and support at school, with your consent.
