1. The website is for general information
Pages on this site explain conditions and treatments in general terms. They do not replace a consultation, and they do not create a doctor and patient relationship. See our Medical Disclaimer.
2. Booking requests
- Appointment, cancellation and refund rules are on the Appointments, Cancellation and Refund page.
3. Not for emergencies
This website, our phone line and WhatsApp are not emergency services. Medical emergency? Call 108 or 112.
4. Telemedicine notice (Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020)
Rehabify offers video consultations under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, issued by the Board of Governors in supersession of the Medical Council of India.
- Who consults: a registered medical practitioner. Dr. Dharshan N A will tell you his name and registration at the start of the consult.
- Consent: when you start a video consult that you booked, your consent is implied. For a first consult or a new problem, we may ask for your clear agreement.
- Limits: a video consult has limits because the doctor cannot touch or fully examine you. The doctor may ask you to come to the clinic, get tests, or see another doctor in person. The doctor decides whether video is suitable for your problem.
- Prescriptions: medicines are prescribed only when the doctor judges it safe after the consult, and only within what the Guidelines allow. Some medicines cannot be prescribed by video.
- Records: we keep a record of the consult, any prescription and messages, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Emergencies: video consults are not for emergencies.
